I missed a lot of spots around Act 1’s map just because I neglected to remember that I could jump to access them.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cspan style=\"color: #339966;\">2.\u003C\u002Fspan> Explore every nook and cranny of the map\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp dir=\"ltr\">In line with the previous point, do your best to explore every road, every cave, every hole, and every crack in the wall on the map. You will find plenty of secrets, loot useful items, and meet interesting NPCs when you do so.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp dir=\"ltr\">\u003Cstrong>\u003Cspan style=\"color: #339966;\">3.\u003C\u002Fspan> You can talk your way out of fights with NPCs\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp dir=\"ltr\">For those with particularly high charisma, you should talk your way out of fights with hostile NPCs as much as you can. Not only will you be able to avoid tough combat but successful deception\u002Fpersuasion checks (dice rolls) sometimes garner you approval from your companions.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp dir=\"ltr\">Another thing to note is that not every NPC’s dialogue can be exhausted, meaning whatever response you choose in dialogues will matter in the grand scheme of the game. You can always reload your save and try again! Don’t pay heed to other players who’d guilt-trip you for “cheating”; after all, the point of a game is to have fun. Do what will make the game more enjoyable for you!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cspan style=\"color: #339966;\">5.\u003C\u002Fspan> You can toggle who among your party can make an action first during combat\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>When in combat, everyone who fights will automatically roll for initiative which determines the order of everyone’s turns. Try to mix up your party often depending on the skills you need for a particular area or boss. It also lets you listen to unique conversations that your companions will have with each other while out adventuring.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cspan style=\"color: #339966;\">7.\u003C\u002Fspan> Talk to your companions frequently, especially when out adventuring \u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>One of the best features of Baldur’s Gate 3 is the great dialogue you can get by interacting with your companions. Don’t simply view them as NPCs in your party that are simply there to help you get through fights. Building a good relationship with each of them is pretty crucial in the game narrative-wise and their approval ratings of you will also affect their decision to stay in your party. So don’t ignore them! Long rests allow you to replenish your hit points and spell slots but will require expending camp supplies and food—of which there are plenty around the map anyway as long as you open every crate and loot every location. But there’s another benefit to taking long rests: it sparks unique cut scenes at camp with your companions that uncover more about their personal stories and provide opportunities to deepen your relationship with each of them, increasing your chances of romancing them later on.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cspan style=\"color: #339966;\">9.\u003C\u002Fspan> Use your items\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Items are there to be used and not just kept in your inventory. You’re guaranteed to find a lot more potions, scrolls, and weapons as you progress the game anyway, so maximize your resources!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cimg loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwww.smcyberzone.com\u002Fapp\u002Fuploads\u002F2024\u002F05\u002F04-healing-potion-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \u002F>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cspan style=\"color: #339966;\">10.\u003C\u002Fspan> Throw healing potions on the ground to heal the entire party\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Instead of having one character drink a healing potion or expending healing spells, you can actually just throw a potion on the ground and all party members within the splash radius will receive its effects. This is especially useful when you forget to distribute potions to your party members before a battle.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cspan style=\"color: #339966;\">11.\u003C\u002Fspan> Ungroup your party when you need to be stealthy\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Your party members will follow you around and mimic your movements since you are the leader, and this may cause them to accidentally set off a trap or get in the field of vision of an enemy despite you being careful. If you’re trying to stealthily infiltrate a room or sneak up on an NPC, it’ll help you a lot to ungroup your party and move them one by one.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cspan style=\"color: #339966;\">12.\u003C\u002Fspan> You can decorate your own area at camp\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Though not a requirement, this is something fun you can do so you can truly be immersed in the game! Each companion has their own area at camp so it would make sense that your character nests somewhere as well. Display items you’ve looted around the map that you want to keep (but don’t want to carry in your inventory) instead of selling them to merchants. Make this space your own!
