Two years have gone by since the pandemic started – a period in which we’ve missed quite a few of our favorite events, one of which is the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Well, the event is finally back in Barcelona and it announced a lot of mobile phones for us to look forward to. Check them out:
Honor Magic 4 and Honor Magic 4 Pro
Both of these mobile phones come with a 120Hz 6.81-inch display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and a three-camera setup. The Honor Magic 4 packs a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP and 50MP periscope camera while the Honor Magic 4 Pro offers a whopping 64MP camera. On top of that, the latter also offers a 3D depth camera so you can take portrait shots that look like they were taken with a professional camera. Another feature worth noting is the Honor Magic 4 Pro’s fast 100W charging capabilities, which allows you to charge its battery in no time at all.
Nokia C2 2nd Edition
If you’re looking for a good quality 4G smartphone that is easy on the wallet, this could be the phone for you. Despite its low price tag, it offers a 5.7-inch HD display, a 5MP rear camera, and a 2MP selfie shooter with 1 or 2GB of RAM. Its 32GB of storage can also be expanded to 256GB.
Nokia C21 and Nokia C21 Plus
These Nokia mobile phones are also affordable. Just a bit more expensive than the mobile phone above, these versions offer a bigger HD+ display at 6.5 inches. They also have a 5MP front camera and twin rear cameras with their 32 and 64GB of storage capable to be expanded to 256GB. Another feature worth nothing is their fingerprint scanner, which ensures better security.
OnePlus 10 Pro 5G
Although already available in China, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G was properly launched at the MWC 2022. It comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, a 48MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 32MP selfie shooter. For better accuracy in any level of light, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G comes with Dual Color Calibration. As for charging, it has a 5,000mAh battery with fast 80W charging capabilities. It was also announced that there won’t be any OnePlus10.
Realme GT2 / Realme GT 2 Pro
Both of these mobile phones are well worth checking out; but of course, it’s the Realme GT 2 Pro that truly stands out. Two versions of this phone are available, both of which have a 120Hz 6.7-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and a triple-camera assembly with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a unique 40x microscope lens. If you’re looking for an affordable Android phone that can rival the current Android mobile phones on the market, this is a great contender.
Realme GT Neo 3
A worthwhile budget phone just like its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo 3 offers 150W charging support for fast charging. You can look forward to charging your phone up to 50% in as low as 5 minutes. Other than that, Realme hasn’t announced any other specs of the phone yet.
TCL Mobile Phones
While TCL may be more famous for their displays, they announced a slew of mobile phones at the MWC 2022. They all seem to be quite similar but just with a few tweaks. While they all have a 50MP main camera, and 2MP depth and 2MP macro camera, for example; their front-facing cameras are different. They also all have at least 5,000mAh batteries.
Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro
Another great contender in terms of budget mobile phones, the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro looks great but might not be the best choice if you’re looking for a great camera. It also doesn’t offer wireless charging nor is it waterproof.
Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro 5G
The better Xiaomi phone to look out for would be the Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro 5G. This is the first Poco phone with a 108MP camera and it evens comes with a 5,000mAh battery, 67W fast charging capabilities, an 120Hz AMOLED display, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP selfie shooter – all packed into a low price tag. You will have to pay a little extra to get the version with more RAM and storage, though.
ZTE Mobile Phones
Not a lot has been revealed about the upcoming ZTE mobile phones yet, but what we do know is that they’re affordable and offer great battery life.
