During the first quarter of 2021, research firm Canalys stated that realme had reclaimed its number 1 spot in the Philippine smartphone market share – and just a few days ago, on May 22, 2021, they have solidified that leadership after the first day sale of their realme 8 Series. More than 26,000 Filipinos put in orders for realme’s latest smartphone offering, which was initially revealed on May 11 via a special Facebook and YouTube livestream featuring Kathryn Bernardo.

Why are Filipinos loving the realme8 series? Well, this success can most likely be attributed to the elevated features of the realme 8 and the realme 8 Pro, both of which have captured the passions and interests of this generation of content creators.

If you love creating content yourself, you will love the incredible camera features of these phones. Thanks to its powerful 108MP quad rear camera setup, the realme 8 Pro offer
advanced photo and video capabilities alongside the world’s first Tilt-shift Time-lapse Video and Starry Time-lapse Video mode on smartphones. This allows you to take clear, vivid, and lifelike images even at night.

The realme 8, on the other hand, boasts a 64MP camera and comes with three new portrait filters – Neon Portrait, Dynamic Bokeh, and New AI Portrait – to level up your photos. If you’re a gamer, you’ll love this phone, too, as it features a powerful MTK Helio G95 processor for a smoother mobile gaming performance.

The realme 8 Series is currently available at SM Cyberzone branches nationwide. The realme 8 is available for Php13,990, while the realme 8 Pro is available at Php15,990. Check out more gadgets at SM Cyberzone today.
