Realme is one of the smartphone manufacturers that’s really impressed us this year. It offers a great lineup of some very competitive products that offer outstanding value for money—devices you really should check out for yourself. Without further ado, why not check out this shortlist of the best Realme smartphones of 2020!
For those of you not in the know, Realme has a smartphone line called narzo, and towards the tail end of 2020 started introducing this new line to the Philippine market. The Narzo 20 is the first unit to be brought over to our fair shores. And it’s a great first taste of what narzo has to offer, thanks to its Helio G85 gaming processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, 6.5” mini-drop display, hefty 6000mAh battery, 18W fast charging, triple main-camera setup (48MP + 8MP ultrawide + macro lens) and 8MP selfie snapper. The narzo 20 can be had in Glory Siver and Victory Blue.
Sitting quite a bit higher up the Realme ladder is the 7 Pro. This one boasts quite a few higher-end features and specifications, foremost of which are its powerful Sony 64MP quad camera and 32MP wide-angle in-display selfie camera, as well as its Snapdragon 720G processor which enables it to function as a mobile gaming platform. Other key features include a 6.4” Super AMOLED screen, 8GB RAm and 128GB of standard storage space, and 65W SuperDart charge to help top up its 4500mAh battery quickly. Choose from two mirrorized color choices, Mirror Blue and Mirror Silver.
Up next on this shortlist is the 7i, which sits below (but not too far below) the 7 Pro on Realme’s lineup. The 7i is yet another gaming-centric phone, thanks to features like its large 6.5” display which refreshes rapidly at 90Hz, and a powerful 5000mAh battery to provide gamers with the juice to last them for hours. A 64MP AI quad camera helps guarantee terrific photos and video. And a Super Power Saving Mode allows for extreme power sipping once your battery hits below 10% charge. This beautiful phone can be had in your choice of Polar Blue or Aurora Green.
Or how about a monster of an imaging phone, one that boasts all of six cameras? The 6 Pro might be what you’re looking for, thanks to its 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, 12MP telephoto lens, and 2MP macro lens in its main unit, and a 16MP wide-angle and 8MP ultrawide angle pair of lenses for its selfie setup. The rest of the phone is still pretty memorable, boasting features that include a 90Hz 6.6 FHD+ display and 30W flash charge to enable full charging in just an hour. Lightning Blue and Lightning Red are your two color choices if you’re looking to pick a 6 Pro up for yourself.
The C11 is one of the least expensive phones available in the local market. But its relatively low price is far from its only virtue. It packs a Helio G35 gaming processor and 5000mAh battery to provide gamers with an excellent low-cost option, and a bright 6.5” mini-drop fullscreen for them to really enjoy their games on. (The battery confers a 40-day standby time, which is excellently long.) Oh, and it also has a 13MP and 2MP nightscape AI dual camera. This phone is available in two colors, a striking Mint Green and nicely understated Pepper Grey.
Last up we have the C3, which costs only a little more than the C11 but represents a jump up in terms of value and performance relative to that other model. As with the other phones, this one also has a big battery (5000mAh) and a robust processor (Helio G70), and also has a beautiful display (6.5”, with a mini-drop cutout for the front-facing 5MP camera). By the way, the C3 boasts a 12MP AI triple camera main set that also incorporates a 2MP portrait camera and a 2MP macro camera. Lastly, Blazing Red and Frozen Blue are your two color choices.
